UNDERWATER PHOTOSHOOT EXPERIENCE
After you have chosen your package, it will soon be the day of the underwatershoot. It’s my my mission to make the underwater session an unforgettable and relaxing experience. Being a underwater model can be challenging in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it will soon be quite relaxing and liberating. I’ll guide you and give you tips, so you will experience that sense of freedom during your underwatershoot on Aruba. You certainly don’t have to be a freediver or an experienced model to get beautiful pictures as a result. Let’s dive into it and schedule a call today!

I’m located on Aruba and I shoot in private pools all over the island. When you have a private pool that comes with your vacation rental or AirBnB, I’m happy to come to your pool for your convenience.
I can work with almost every pool with clear water (for visibility). The bigger the more poses and possibilities. For safety reasons it is important that you can stand in the pool, with your head above the water. The pool needs to be at least 4.3 feet (1.30m) deep, 6.6 feet (2m) wide and 9.8 feet (3m) for to get an entire body in the frame underwater.
Yes. Pools are the best controlled environments for underwatershoots. Because of safety and visibility reasons I only shoot in pools. In the ocean there can be safety hazards as well as visibility issues. I choose private pools, because I think it’s important that my clients feel at ease in a more private setting.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a private pool, because I have one that we can use for the shoot in the center of Aruba in Paradera. For the little ones there is a slide. The pool is 5 feet (1.50 meter)
deep at the deepest point. Right next to the pool there is room with a toilet and a shower where you can change.
Here you can find the prices. Underwater photography is one of the more expensive kinds of photography. Underwater photography is more challenging for models and photographers then on land photography. For professional underwater photography you need underwater gear besides a professional camera and lens. Also the time that’s put into professional editing is longer than on land editing.
Yes. Within one week after the shoot you’ll receive the unedited selection of which you can choose your photos. $200 per extra photo.
Yes. Let your friend or family member or partner attend your private pool underwater photoshoot.
An extra participant to the shoot may be possible. We can discuss this during the discovery call.
It depends on the pool size and the available time for the shoot and editing. If possible an extra participant will cost $250.
After you booked and paid for your underwater session it is set. We will schedule a call to talk about your preferences and to answer any questions. Before the day of the shoot you will get a reminder.
You can cancel the session by sending an email or whatsapp message at least 48 hours before the session. In such cases, you will receive a refund for the paid amounts exceeding the non-refundable fee of $375. The non-refundable fee will be converted into a voucher equal to the value of the non-refundable fee, which will be valid for one year.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the session, no refund or voucher will be issued.
In the event the photographer cancels, you will receive a full refund, including the non-refundable fee.
You will the edited and finished photos in high resolution jpg files.
Within 30 days. Within one week you’ll receive the unedited selection of which you will choose your photos. You will receive the finished photos within 3 weeks after you made your selection.
No you don’t have to be a strong swimmer, because we make the photos in a pool, where you can stand. It helps to feel comfortable in the water. The perfect water temperature on Aruba will help you with that. Also I’ll make sure that you feel comfortable during the shoot.
No, only for a couple of seconds at a time.
I give you breathing tips and we will work at your pace. It’s important to me that the underwater experience is comfortable and relaxing for you.
Yes, if it is (under)waterproof.
It depends on the package that you choose.
Small = 1 outfit.
Medium = maximum 2 outfits.
Large = maximum 4 outfits.
No. Keeping your eyes closed is perfectly fine and can give the image a dreamy like feel.
